I can say, without a doubt, that the past five days have been,

well, interesting + someone intriguing.

And although I am no stranger to conflict, or strife, or hypocrisy,

I can say that at this current time, I am content.

This time last month, the Lamb swept my soul into true love -

to grace + mercy + a life that could only be changed by Him.

I committed to live a life dedicated forever to an indescribable Savior.

This time last month, the Lion began his journey.

An antagonizing journey to devour my life, to set me back to where

I was before I came to the conclusion of my great Need.

I feel his power tonight, his discouraging power.

I feel His power tonight. His Power. His captive, mighty, loving power.

The one that gives peace throughout any circumstance.

No man can ever take that away. No power can ever take that away.

No circumstance can ever take that away.

Ever.

I will not be shaken. I will not back down. I will stand firm, being bold + rooted.

No one ever said living for Him would be easy.

Bring it on. X

In the midst of discouragement, persecution + false accusations -

I remember the One who knew He would go thru it all + did.

And while they mocked Him + interrogated Him,

like one investigating a crime, having no evidence,

He stood strong. Practiced what He preached, with Love + Mercy.

And in return, saved the guilty contrary to the fact that He was blameless.

True love.

In life, we must wait. We must wait + not stir up controversy,

for controversy only leads to bitterness + hate.

But we must embrace the valleys in our life.

Because they will come, my fellow believer. + when they do

show love. The love that ripped you from the hand of the one

who seeks to destroy. Do not give in to his game, for he does

not play by the rules. Instead, play by His Rule to conquer life.

And if you become a prisoner on this earth, remember,

we were first called to be a prisoner of His.

For His love enslaved us + captured us for the good of those who

in return, love Him. X
